de Loren and Associates is at its core, a family-run architectural design House with a global collaborative design reach based on an authentic, sophisticated and clear creative identity. A de Loren home stands out by its timeless elegance, interior holistic flow and impeccable craftmanship. Our design philosophy values past heritage methods, modern innovation and precise contemporary aesthetics. We view the creation of a home as a work of art and consequently promote and apply superior craftmanship found in many luxury guilds when creation occurs through the intrinsic process between material, traditional hand tools and the virtuosic skill of the maker. Our carefully select and integrated team is composed of committed and tested architects, designers and requisite support staff to take on projects of all sizes and scopes.
Under the visionary and creative leadership of Sanam de Loren, co-founder and Principal, de Loren and Associates has created since 1998, brand new, custom, heirloom quality homes for our discerning and loyal clients. We have progressively developed the logistic capabilities and a strong network of reputable international Collaborators, Consultants and Builders to take on design projects worldwide.
Our design studio has three distinct expertise. 1 - To design custom dream homes. 2 - To conceptualize, design, build and finance Spec homes. 3 - To design state of the art Wellness sanctuaries for the hospitality industry. In addition, de Loren and Associates is pleased to announce that it is in the preliminary stages to open their new office in Honolulu, on the island of O'ahu, Hawai'i. Driven by our sincere admiration for the Hawaiian's Islands people, culture and natural landscape, this expansion underscores our firm's ongoing commitment to and investment in urban spaces that deeply inspire us.

To protect our practice's design ethos, de Loren and Associates rigorously follows Five fundamental core steps: Discovery, Design, Execution, Support and Transparency.
We view architecture as a sincere and transparent collaboration with our clients. Each project is unique and begins with in depth consultations with our prospective clients to gain a deeper understanding of who they are. Listening is indeed essential to know precisely what the "must have" fundamental components of a particular "dream house" or larger scale Hospitality /Leisure project truly are.
Rapid hand sketches will emerge from these conversations and our team will use these drawings to ask questions and propose thoughts early in the design stage. Next, an extensive conceptual design research program will inspire several drafts of schematic designs to produce digital visualizations of the resulting architectural design prototypes.
The final step, after schematic approval, is a meticulous in house design development process.
Interconnected with our latest aesthetics and engineering standards, it will lead to a detailed final design presentation, construction drawings and completion.
